THE LAW OFFICES OF MITCHELL C. BEINHAKER, ESQ.Attorney Biography  Mitchell C. Beinhaker, Esq. is a private practicing attorney who specializes in three major areas: trusts & estates, small corporations & closely-held businesses, and real estate matters. His T&E practice focuses on the drafting of wills, trusts and other personal documents, as well as designing the estate plans that accompany these. Corporate and business work includes company formations, asset protection structures and the preparing of related documents including corporate by-laws, operating agreements and buy-sell agreements. With regard to real estate, he has extensive experience in the closing aspects of title, especially in the foreclosure marketplace and acts as counsel to a number of investment groups that work in the foreclosure and pre-foreclosure markets. He also has experience in the evaluation, purchase and management of investment properties and has helped many clients enter this lucrative arena.
He began his working career in the life insurance industry where he soon became an industry expert on the use of life insurance products in the planning process. As the senior advanced sales consultant for a national life insurance company, Mitchell traveled the country speaking on topics including estate planning, charitable trusts and deferred compensation planning. He is skilled at the design, implementation and funding of deferred compensation plans and also provides plan administration for small business owners.
Mitchell left the sales side of the business in 1998 and took a general/tax counsel position at a large regional insurance agency. He eventually migrated into private practice and offically opened a separate law office in recent months.
He brings a unique ability to not only provide clients with documents needed to implement their goals and objectives, but also the ability to consult with them on many of the legal, tax and financial issues which they face on a regular basis.
The Law Offices of Mitchell C. Beinhaker, Esq. has an "of counsel" relationship with OlenderFeldman, LLP, a firm that specializes in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and corporate law. Additional services offered through affiliated relationships include family law, criminal law, personal injury and bankruptcy.
Mitchell also manages uDocuments.com, an online document preparation service which prepares documents, including wills, trusts, business agreements, and real estate documents, for professionals such as attorneys, accountants and financial advisors who might not have the expertise to do so.
He previously served as the Director of Advanced Markets and General Counsel for a mid-size northeast financial services company where he coordinated executive compensation plan design and administration, fee-based consulting, and general legal and compliance issues. Prior to that, he served as Senior Advanced Sales Attorney to The Nationwide Insurance Company in Columbus, Ohio.
A graduate of Cornell University, Mitchell received his law degree (JD) from New York Law School in 1992. He was a tax intern with Internal Revenue during law school and is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania (inactive in PA). He was awarded the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) degree from The American College in 1998.
He currently resides in Westfield, NJ with his wife and three children and maintains an office presence in Union & Morris counties. |
